Central Smith Creamery

739 Lindsay Rd, Selwyn

Central Smith Creamery offers 61 varieties of ice cream, but in springtime you’ll definitely want a scoop of maple walnut. This flavour is available in 11.4L and 4L tubs. Pick some up at the factory, Monday-Friday 9-5!

La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant

190 Hunter St W, Peterborough

As part of maple season in Peterborough La Hacienda features Maple Harvest Enchiladas, served in a sweet and savoury Mexican salsa with locally sourced maple syrup.

To complement the Maple Season feature, La Hacienda also offers Artisan Corn Maple Tortillas, made in small batches and available exclusively for the season in a pack with 12 made in-house tortillas.

Boardwalk Game Lounge

261 George St N, Peterborough

Boardwalk Game Lounge is a boardgame lounge in Peterborough where you can play as many games as you would like for $8 per person. They serve food and drinks in a welcoming and inclusive environment. To help you get your maple fix they offer Maple Light, a maple seltzer made locally. They also have a maple milkshake on their menu, and during the month of March they offer seasonal maple specials.  

Silver Bean Cafe

2077 Ashburnham Dr, Peterborough

The Silver Bean Cafe’s location at the The Canadian Canoe Museum incorporates maple syrup from Red Mill Maple Syrup in a few of their menu items: the Maple Syrup Latte; Maple Balsamic Dressing; as a topping on our French Toast; and as a topping on their homemade granola and fresh fruit yogurt bowl.

Centre and Main Chocolate

50 Centre Ave, Warkworth

Centre and Main is a chocolate shop in the picturesque village of Warthworth specializing in gourmet chocolates using local ingredients and flavours. Over 80% of everything they create includes a local ingredient, many of these are within 100km of the studio. Try the Maple Glazed Cocoa Nib chocolate bar, made using maple syrup from Sandy Flat Sugar Bush.

Kawartha Dairy

89 Prince St W, Bobcaygeon

Kawartha Dairy’s head quarters and original location is located in Bobcaygoen, Ontario, and they’ve since spread across the province and into Western Canada. You can indulge in a classic ice cream flavour with their maple walnut ice cream. Nothing says time spent at the cottage like Kawartha Dairy.

The Burleigh Falls Inn

Situated on the picturesque 11-acre Burleigh Island, The Burleigh Falls Inn provides stunning panoramas—from sunrise over Stoney Lake to the glorious sunsets over the dams of Lovesick Lake. Try their Maple Pecan Salmon, a salmon fillet topped with maple pecan butter, baked and served on wild rice and seasonal vegetables.

Doo Doo's Bakery

187 County Rd 28, Bailieboro

Doo Doo’s Bakery does butter tarts, and they do them really well. They have won countless awards from the Royal Winter Fair for their butter tarts. They offer two maple varieties for your tasting pleasure: the Maple Bacon Butter Tart and Maple Whiskey Butter Tart.
