264 Glenarm Road, Woodville
Argyle Farm Market & Bakery, located in the tiny hamlet of Argyle, Ontario, was originally known as the Royal Hotel and later as ‘the old Argyle Hotel’, built in 1891 after a fire that destroyed the original wooden structure. This fine old Hotel serviced passengers and crew of the Toronto and Nipissing Railway Line which passed through the property on its way to Coboconk. In addition to the breads, pies, tarts and Chelsea buns, we make our own cookies, brownies, muffins and various loaves – banana, strawberry, blueberry etc.. We are particularly proud of the fact that many of our recipes have been in the family for years. When we name something “Grandma’s chocolate chip banana muffins” it ‘s because it is from Marianne’s grandmothers’ recipe.
Find the Argyle Farm Market on our Trip Planner as stop #3.
